For example-
IF you want to do something that your parents don’t allow you to do, you keep wanting it, and they keep not allowing you to do it. In the end, you decide it isn’t worth it to try all the time, because they don’t let you do it anyway. And it’s a lot of suffering to want and not have – so from that time on, you will not listen to what you want. It becomes less and less accessible to you.
Now, without a natural flow of intuition, there’s no feeling of being alive. And it’s easy to decide that life isn’t worth living.
Usually, people believe that depression is a special kind of mental illness or suffering, depending on the severity. But the truth is that it comes from the same thing that all other kinds of mental suffering come from. From the blocking of intuition.
If I show you how to unblock your intuition, you will start being intuitive in the therapy sessions, and your intuition will find what is the best way for you to start using more and more of it.
And as you do that, your suffering dissolves, and you become happy again – as is the natural state of all human beings.
The style by which your parents did not allow you to do something may determine your thoughts about yourself. For example, if they kept telling you that you are a bad boy or girl, you may adapt that idea and can believe that you are a bad person. You will feel that it is justifiable to punish yourself.
Some people turn their aggression outward and become angry at other people – and combative. Others, usually women, learn to turn their aggression inward, and they punish themselves in different ways. This is another aspect of depression.
If you try to deal with that, you deal with a very complicated inner-system of suffering, all of which is built upon that basic blocked intuition. This is what most therapists try to do, and it is very difficult, and a long process. And it usually doesn’t resolve the problem. This is because the main lack of intuition continuously creates new problems!
Instead of dealing with all those secondary effects, you can go to the source and unblock the intuition. All those secondary effects drop off without a struggle, because they are not necessary anymore.
This makes this course of therapy short, and truly effective.
Instead of spending years and years dealing with secondary issues that never end, you can choose to deal with the core issue and allow all the secondary layers that have been causing some of your symptoms to just dissolve on their own.
